Partnerships
The Canonical partner programme
The Canonical partner programme helps us deliver the very best partner technologies to Ubuntu users.
Our partners range from global technology companies to local consultancies.
Find a partner
Canonical partners provide a variety of software, hardware, implementation and training services to help you make the most of your open-source IT environment.
Become a partner
Our partner programme is tailored for businesses that provide solutions based on Ubuntu. Accredited partners receive access to sales, marketing, technical and support resources directly from Canonical.
There are five separate tracks in the partner programme – some have as many as three levels. These levels depend on the size, skills and experience of your organisation - and your level of commitment to Ubuntu.
Our partner tracks are grouped to cover the following:
Most of our tracks are divided into three levels of participation:
Gold partners

Gold Partners benefit from our highest level of partnership. These partners receive engineering, support and marketing services, but require higher revenue and support commitments. As a result, Canonical works extensively with these partners so they can benefit from a more strategic relationship with us and become closely involved in our business processes and strategies.
Silver partners

Silver Partners play a key role in helping deliver products and solutions to customers. They meet a set of requirements set out by Canonical that demonstrates a definite commitment to promoting and developing open-source technologies within their customer base and to building joint business with Canonical. These partners also receive additional marketing assistance and are eligible for technical support at reduced prices.
Bronze partners

Bronze Partners are authorised Canonical partners that create part of our community of best-of-breed partners. Customers can build on technology from these partners to complement their solutions. These partners have access to many Canonical services from technical support to marketing and communications. The entry requirements are set to enable most Ubuntu and open-source-focused businesses to join at this level.
The Ubuntu Marketplace
If you do not qualify for the full partner programme, the Ubuntu Marketplace is the ideal place to register. Listing in the Marketplace is free to all businesses and individuals who are working with Ubuntu, whether they are providing local support to their clients, or providing large-scale consultancy across multiple regions and countries.
