Landscape - web-based systems management for larger deployments
Currently running a very successful beta program, Landscape will provide commercially supported administrators with an intuitive graphical interface that’ll make systems management easier than ever. Deploy packages, fixes, patches, or updates - either on a single machine or on any and all Ubuntu machines in a system - all with simple point and click tools. Landscape also provides key usage data and hardware inventory to allow informed capacity decisions and error reduction. Landscape is available free to all Canonical support customers.
New long-term support edition
April 2008 will see the release of Ubuntu 8.04 Server Edition LTS. Fully supported for five years, this will become the new reference Linux server platform for users, software providers, and hardware vendors alike.
