Ubuntu Desktop Edition

With Ubuntu Desktop, users can surf the web, read emails, create Microsoft-compatible documents and spreadsheets, edit images and much more. Ubuntu Desktop is ideal for OEMs wanting to deliver an elegant and simple desktop for education, corporate markets and general PC use.
Ubuntu Netbook Edition

Ubuntu Netbook is a version of Ubuntu optimised for small-screened netbooks. It includes a simple interface that allows users to quickly find and organise their favourite online and offline applications. OEMs often choose Ubuntu Netbook when marketing direct to consumers via retail outlets or with network operators.
Ubuntu on ARM
Ubuntu on ARM provides a platform for the best collection of open-source applications and proprietary applications available on ARM. Core applications include Firefox 3.5, Chromium, Evolution email client, the Rhythmbox media player and OpenOffice.org. Highlights of the ARM distribution include DeviceTree support and ARM v7 Thumb2 optimisations and removal of unused packages, creating an optimised desktop. Ubuntu on ARM is available to OEMs with the Ubuntu Desktop or Ubuntu Netbook user experience, providing OEMs flexibility to choose the user experience that best meets the needs of their target markets.

Ubuntu in education can be delivered with a complete office suite, teaching and learning programs, pre-school resources and much more across a range of categories. The educational applications can be integrated to an existing Ubuntu distribution allowing OEMs the flexibility to choose the user interface that best meets their device characteristics and target markets. Ubuntu Light: The web in seven seconds

Ubuntu Light, powered by Unity, is a simplified version of Ubuntu. It's perfect as a companion to Windows for a fast web experience or as a standalone operating system for use in mobile or embedded devices. Typical startup times are seven seconds on a device with a solid state disk drive (SSD). Boot times can extend up to 20 seconds on hard disk drive (HDD) machines. PC OEMs can get Ubuntu Light now.
