Vodafone launch Ubuntu Webbook!

Vodacom and Canonical have joined forces to launch the Vodafone Webbook. The Vodafone Webbook is available initially from South Africa with other markets to follow.
Vodacom is the African subsidiary of Vodafone, the world's leading mobile telecommunications company, with a presence in over 30 countries and a subscriber base of over 180 million users. Vodafone have been providing the latest netbook solutions over the last three years and this is the first using the Ubuntu operating system.
The Vodafone Webbook features great battery life, fast internet access, a slim design and is great for work. It features pre-installed email, word processing and spreadsheet tools. For social activity, there is a full modern web browser, access to all the social networking sites and users can listen to their favourite music or watch their favourite movies on the in-built media players.
